What's the last thing you want your child to see when opening up their Happy Meal? A grenade? Or maybe a piranha? How about a box cutter? 

Well, that's exactly what one child saw when they up their Happy Meal recently in what might be the mix-up of the century. The child's mother was so outraged by the event that she took to Facebook to share with her friends and family, just how unhappy she was with the meal. 

Dawn Paret, the mother who penned the now-viral Facebook post said, "You hear of things like this, but never did I think it truly could happen." She went on to explain how worried and angry she was with the situation, saying, "A million "what ifs"' went through her head as she opened the meal she bought for her 2-year-old. 

How does this happen you might be wondering? Well, it isn't the first time it's happened, let alone the first time this year. In May, Detroit-area mom Kayla Almashy posted a similar story to her Facebook page, detailing how her daughter had found a yellow box cutter in her meal in place of the Happy Meal toy. 

In an email statement to USA Today McDonald's reps said: "The safety of customers and employees is our top priority, and we take these claims seriously. We have been in touch with the customers involved and are continuing to investigate.”
